Congratulations AAVA Hotel!
“Stopover going back to USA”

We were traveling from Kamloops to Oregon and decided to drive over to Whistler. Aava had nice pet friendly rooms. They gave us a cute pet care pack. The location was close to the village where everything you could want is located. We loved the area and will definitely come back.
Congratulations Oban Inn!
“Lovely pet friendly place.”

My husband and I were looking for a quick getaway with our dog and found the Oban Inn to be pet friendly. We stayed in the Premium deluxe king suite and it was wonderful! The suite itself in on the main floor and faces the Niagara- on-the-Lake golf course. There is a walk out to a small porch which would have been used more if the weather was warmer. There are no rooms next to it which is great if you have a dog that barks. They also left a little gift bag for our dog
I would recommend this hotel if you have a dog. Very pet friendly and the people are great.

…I was very pleased that the Lodge was pet friendly and included a welcome package, dog bowls, dog bed, and even a dog wash for only $45 (with part of the payment going to the local SPCA).

I wasnt expecting much about this hotel, but once we got there, we were pleasantly surprised. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the village, the front staff were very friendly, and best of all, they are also a “pet friendly” hotel. This was our first trip with our beloved pooch outside the confines of our own home, and the Aava staff made sure Mojo (our dog) was welcomed as soon as we registered. For a nominal fee, they included disposable bags, gluten free treat, etc.
Congratulations Horseshoe Resort!

“Dog friendly in every way”
Knowing how dog owners often put their pet’s interests ahead of their own creature comforts I will start with Bentley’s rating which was a 5 tail wag, his top box rating.
Our room #114 was on the ground floor very close to an exit door leading out to a grassy knoll above a golf green. This meant we could use it quickly and quietly when nature called to Bentley in the middle of the night.
Another contributing factor was the Hotel’s DOGGIE WELCOME KIT complete with a letter from the Hotel’s top dog, a roll of poop bags, some lovely dog treats and a very amusing door hanger advising staff that there was a doggie guest in the room. A brilliantly conceived piece !
‘nuff said !
